photoSCHWEIZ is by far the largest and most important exhibition of photography in Switzerland.
Every year, more than 300 photographers showcase their latest images in an exhibition space of around 7,000 square meters in the beautifully renovated industrial halls of Halle 550 in Zurich-Oerlikon.
Founded in 2005, the five-day exhibition includes special exhibitions on socio-political topics such as this year's MSF, BLACK ART MATTERS or photoNFT, a versatile course program with renowned course instructors in the photoSCHOOL, professional feedback for photographers in the photoREVIEW, an exhibition area with the latest photo products - hardware as well as software - in the photoINDUSTRY and the photoFORUM with talks by and discussions with national and international star photographers.
photoSCHWEIZ is produced by BLOFELD Entertainment. The portfolio of the renowned Zurich-based cultural organizer includes the public science festival Salon Public and the singer-songwriter festival Songbird Festival Davos, in addition to other photography exhibitions such as photoMÜNCHEN, photoBERLIN and photoHAMBURG.
The managing director of photoSCHWEIZ is Paul Merki. The Bremgarten native has worked in the photography industry for more than 30 years and was founder and owner of Light + Byte, which he sold in 2017. Merki has co-organized other photography events such as IPFO.ch in Olten and digitalEVENT.ch in Baden.
The artistic director and host of photoSCHWEIZ is photoSCHWEIZ founder and co-owner Michel Pernet. His curatorial team in 2022 will be Daniel Bolliger, Neomi Gamliel and Joshua Amissah.

Hasselblad Heroines shines a light on talented female photographers from around the globe as they make their mark in the photographic industry. Through these spotlights, each Heroine shares their experiences in their career, challenges they've encountered in the industry and inspiration in their art through short video interviews.
By putting a spotlight on these creatives, Hasselblad Heroines hopes to encourage the next generation of female photographers to go against the grain and bring their creative visions to life.
