During this sixth edition of the biennial Art in the Fortress, Heusden stands for art and design. Besides artists from Heusden and the surrounding area, guest artists and designers show their work. The artefacts range from glass art, ceramics, photography, animation, paintings to design. The presentations take place throughout the fortress at significant locations. That differs from houses, towers, a former bank building, the old parsonage, studios and galleries. Special is the presentation of the design duo Kranen / Gille in the town hall. Additionally, 17 graduate students from the St. Joost / Avans art academy show their work. With a view on sculpture you can relax in the Gouverneurstuin.
