The digitally manipulated photograph by Russian artist Katerina Belkina creates a minimalist atmosphere, reflecting the materialistic and almost artificial experience of life in today’s modernized society. "I can see inspiration everywhere – it can be music, cinema, stains on the walls, wonderful dreams, and smells. At first, they were very abstract. It can take a little time or a lot before they materialize. When I have the representation in my mind, the process begins. Sometimes the final result can be very different from the first idea," says Katerina about her creative process.
